SRM Trichy College of nursing organized the National Deworming Day Awareness programme on 14.02.2023 at 11.00 to 1.00pm in Government Primary School at sangenthi.Theprogramme was organized by 4th year B.sc Nursing students. The students were performed Skit, Speechgiven with the use of Power point presentation regardingcauses, prevention and management of worm infestation. The participants were benefited and gain knowledge regarding management worm infestation.
SRM Trichy College of Nursing, Trichy Campus organized a 5 days Faculty Development Programme – Short Course on “Oncology Nursing” on 21.02.2023 from 10 am to 4 pm in Hybrid Mode
SRM Trichy College of Nursing observed World Leprosy day on 01.02.2023.Theme of this year “Act Now, End Today”. Symposium was organized by BSc (N) II Yearon the Topic of Act Now, End Today. In Symposium topics were discussed regarding Leprosy, myths, Impact and Leprosy programme. Competition (Models) were conducted and prize distributed for the winners.
Republic Day was celebrated in Trichy SRM Medical college Hospital & Research center on 26.01.2023. SRM Trichy college of Nursing studentswere participated. Respected Chief Director sir presided the function and hoisted National flag. All the HOI’s, HOD’s, Administrative people, staffs and students were takenpart in this function
SRM Trichy College of Nursing organized the National Girl Child Day Awareness Programmeon 27.01.2023 between 12.00 to 1.00 pm in Government High School at Sangenthi. The Programmewas organized by 4th year B.Sc Nursing students. The students were performed speech, puppet show and skit regarding girls Rights and safety. The participants were benefited and gain knowledge regarding girl’s rights and safety.
National voter’s day was celebrated in SRM Trichy college of Nursing on 25.01.2023. The Voters Pledge red by Prof.Jenny.D and all the students of SRM Trichy college of Nursing have taken voters oath.
The lamp lighting ceremony – 2023 of 5th batch B.Sc Nursing students was organized by SRM Trichy college of Nursing on 25.01.2023. The ceremony presided by honourable Chairman Dr.R.Shivakumar, SRM Group of Institutions (Ramapuram & Trichy Campuses) and delivered presidential address. Chief Guest address was delivered by Dr.R.Gunasekaran, senior National Vice president (elect),IMA, India, founder, Managing Partner, physicion, Diabetologist-Deepan Hospital,Trichy. Dr.Suja Suresh, Principal, SRM Trichy college of Nursing welcomedthe gathering. Kuthuvilakku lit by the dignitaries followed by lighting the lamp and oath taken by the first year B.Sc. Nursing students.Dr.S.Revathy , Dean, TSRMMCH & RC, Dr.N.Balasubramaniyan, Deputy Director, SRM Trichy campus & Dr.N.Malmurugan, Campus Director, SRM Trichy campus felicitated the gathering. Prof.Dr.N.Sethuraman Chief Director, SRM group of Institution (Ramapuram & Trichy campuses)was delivered the Special address. Vote of thanks was proposed by Prof.Devi.K,Vice – Principal, SRM Trichy college of Nursing.The programme came to an end with National anthem.
Pongal celebration was organized in SRM Trichy campus for Two days from 12.01.2023 to 13.01.2023. Inter college Pongal culturals were organized. SRM Trichy College of Nursing students performed Villu pattu, Puppet show and folk dance. Everyone appreciated and enjoyed the programmes. On 13.01.2023, Pongal prepared by Four batches of Nursing students and many competitions were conducted. Students were participated in all the competitions and they have enjoyed enthusiastically throughout the programs.
INTERCOLLEGIATE SPORTS MEET (06.01.2023 & 07.01.2023)
SRM Trichy College of Nursing students were participated Intercollegiatesports meet in Indira Ganesan College of Nursing in collaboration with Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University.Students were actively participated in various events like Kabaddi, Throw ball, volley ball, chess, carom and athletic events. They won second prize in volley ball and 400 meters and third place in chess competition.
SRM Trichy College of Nursing was conducted a parents Teachers Meeting for 2nd year B.Sc. (N) students. Parents were given information about theirdaughter from mentors. The parent were happy about the meeting and they gave feedback.
To prepare the students of our SRM Trichy College of Nursing to become empathetic and compassionate health care providers and groom them to continuously update their skills. To make our institution known for its research skills and transform the lives of people who are part of our ecosystem.
