SRM Trichy College of Nursing on behalf campus life conducted competitions on 02.03.2023 for the celebration of women’s day. The competitions were Hairdo, Rangoli, Face painting and Wealth out of waste. The theme for the competition was ‘Equal Opportunities Are No Longer Enough’.Students participated enthusiastically and exhibited their talents.

SRM Trichy College of Nursing Final year B.Sc Nursing students participated in Camp as a Community outreaching program on 01.03.2023 at Koodalur, Trichy District.

TSRM conducted Antenatal clinic in SRM RHTC at Sangenthi, at 11 to 12.30pm on 24.02.2023. SRM Trichy College of Nursing Final Year B.Sc Nursing students participated and gave health education regarding antenatal diet and prevention of hypertension during the antenatal period. 12 mother participated in this program and appreciated for their programme.

TSRM organized “Home Away 2023”a fantabulous event exclusively for hostel students on 24^th February. The famous Vijay TV Anchor Mr Ma Ka Pa Anand and Ms.V J Kalyani compered the whole event. SRM Trichy College of Nursing students performed two dances and all the students enjoyed the evening enthusiastically.

SRM Trichy College of Nursing, Trichy Campus organized a Faculty Development Programme – Short Course on “Oncology Nursing” on 24.02.2023 (4^th Day) from 10 am to 4pm.

Prof. Sarmila, SRMTCON dealt on the topic “Care of Patient with Chemotherapy” at 10 a.m, At 11 a.m Mrs.Selvarani Associate Professor SRMTCON, dealt the topic on Cancer Prevention-Future Prospects. Afternoon Prof. Aron Christy, SRMTCON dealt the topic on Psycho-oncology. The sessions were quiet interesting and the informations were very useful in clinical setting

5^th day of Faculty Development Programme – Short Course on “Oncology Nursing” in SRM Trichy College of Nursing, Trichy was organized on 25.02.2023.                                                                                                                     

Sr. Kanikkai Parvin, Servite College of Nursing, dealt on the topic “Palliative Care” at 10 a.m,   At 11 a.m     Prof. Dr.Grace Jebakani Sweety, Our Lady of Health College of Nursing, dealt the topic on Pain Management. Prof.Dhanalakshmi, M.A.Chidambaram College of Nursing dealt the topic on Care of Child with Leukemia. The sessions were informative and useful in clinical setting. Followed by Valediction Function was taken place. Prof.Dr.Suja Suresh, Principal, SRM Trichy college of Nursing distributed the certificated to the Resource persons and participants. Feedback was taken from all the participants. The program was ended with National Anthem.

Dr. Lydia of Nursing was dealt on the topic “Hospice Care” at 10 a.m, At 11 a.m Dr. Abirami, SRM University, Kattangulathur, dealt the topic on Care of patient with Cervical Cancer. Afternoon Mr. K. Ramachandran, Nursing Superintendent, Railway Hospital, dealt the topic on Radiation Therapy. The sessions were very effective and informative

HEALTH CAMP AT PAITHAMPARAI ON 22.02.2023

SRM Trichy College of Nursing Final year B.Sc Nursing students participated in Camp as a Community outreaching program on 22.02.2023 at Paithamparai, Trichy District.

Mrs. Janu Priya Asst.Prof, Vijaya College of Nursing was dealt on the topic “Epidemiology of Cancer” at 10 a.m, At 11 a.m Dr. Balasubramaniam Deputy Director TSRMMCH & RC dealt the topic on Skin Cancer and the session was very effective and informative. Afternoon the class was on Tracheostomy Care followed by Hands on sills on Tracheostomy Care” was demonstrated at SRM Trichy College of Nursing Foundation Lab.
