We are proudly announced about our SRM Trichy college of Nursing students were actively participated in Trichy district level weight lifting competition which was conducted by Trichy district weight lifting and power lifting Association on 9.2.25.Students were more thrilled to participated and won prizes in different categories like 2 silver medals and 7 bronze medals.
Student Nurses Association organized a farewell party for the 2024 batch and shared their token of love . Students were celebrate the achievements, growth, and memories of them .And prepare to move on to the next chapter of their lives. The celebration was very thrilled and students enjoyed well. They express their gratitude, share final thoughts, and wish everyone well as they embark on new adventures. Students were dedicated simulator Intubation mannequin to the Nursing foundation lab and wall clock to the college . students express their gratitude towards their college, highlighting specific aspects of the institution that they appreciate, such as supportive faculty, valuable curriculum, enriching extracurricular activities, and overall positive learning environment, essentially providing a positive feedback to the college administration about what is working well from the student perspective. We express our gratitude towards Honorable Chairman sir/co-chairman sir and the dignitaries those who supported us to conducted the programme successfully.
SRM Trichy College of Nursing, in accordance with World Health Day -2025 conducted an Quiz Competition program on 07.04.2025 between 10.30 am 11.30 am in the multi purpose hall at SRM Trichy College of Nursing. The students actively participated in the competition which led it to a tough moment. The audience was engaged and curious about the different types of questions and the students did a great job of maintaining silence. At the end prizes were distributed to the winners.
SRM Trichy College of Nursing celebrated prestigious lamp lighting ceremony on 13.02.2025, marking the initiation of the 7th batch B.Sc. (N) & 2nd batch DGNM Nursing students into the noble profession .The ceremony began with welcome address by Dr.Suja Suresh Principal, who have highlighted the significance of lamp lighting, Dr.Shivakumar chairman, SRM group of Institution (Ramapuram, Chennai &Trichy) delivered the presidential address .The chief guest Dr.G.C.Gobinath ,Joint Director Medical &Rural Health Services Trichy delivered an enlightening speech emphasizing the values and responsibilities of Nurses to the Society .As the part of the event students lit their lamp from dignitaries, followed by night gale pledge taking by students .Prof.Dr.Sethuraman, Chief director, Dr.S.Revathy dean TSRMMCH&RC, Dr.N.Balasubramanian ,Deputy director SRM group of Institution, Dr.Ravikumar, Medical Superintendent, TSRMMCH&RC felicitated the gathering followed by Prof. Devi, Vice principal expressed the gratitude to all the attendees. The event concluded with national anthem.

The students, Faculty and management of SRM Trichy College of Nursing bid farewell to the outgoing students of IV Year B.Sc.(N). Filled with curiosity and zeal, the farewell ceremony was organized by III Year B.Sc.(N)the students followed by Thanks giving by IV Year B.Sc.(N) students on 1st February 2025 in SRM Auditorium. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to reminisce joyous moments. The function commenced with the formal welcome of Dr.Rajamani, Dean-Nursing, Dr.Suja Suresh, Principal and Prof.Devi.K, Vice Principal of SRM Trichy Collge of Nursing. All the dignitaries were felicitated the gathering as they graced the day with their benign presence. All the dignitaries told them to update the Knowledge, Skills, Wisdom, Character and Courage. The students were wished good luck for future years. The mementoes were presented to all the outgoing students by the dignitaries as a token of blessings. The cultural programme showcased the multiple talents of students who presented entertaining group dance and singing performance. The performance were thoroughly enjoyed by the momentum for the day. All students and staff relished the farewell and thanks giving buffet as the day came to an emotional close.

B.Sc. Nursing V semester Students (I Batch)

The Department of Community Health Nursing of SRM Trichy College of Nursing organized the “School health awareness program at Government Primary School, S.Puthur, on 24th January 2025 at 10.00 am.
B. Sc Nursing V Semester students deliberated the Skit on “DENTAL CARRIES AND ITS PREVENTION” by using role play and enlightened the young minds on a healthy life, healthy habits, personal hygiene, and highlighted the importance of having healthy behaviour. The BSc Nursing V Semester student demonstrated hand washing to the school children through the dance, and all actively participated in the event.
Thereafter, They are conducted Puppet show regarding “WARM INFESTATION AND ITS PREVENTION” to the school children. A total of 40 participants attended the program, which included 35 school children, 5 teachers. The efforts of staff and students from SRMTCON, in organizing this School health programme were appreciated by Headmistress of Government Primary School, S.Puthur. This program contributed to “SDG-3 Good health and well-being and SDG-4 Quality Education”.

SRM Trichy College of Nursing along with IQAC organized the Faculty Development Programme on Trends and Challenges in Health and Nursing informatics from 02.01.2025 to 08.01.2025 between 2.00pm – 4.00pm through hybrid mode. This was a five day Programme where eminent speakers discussed various topics such as the future of Health care, Leveraging informatics for Better patient outcomes, Artificial intelligence, Machine learning and block chain technology in Health care, Telehealth and electronic health records in nursing perspectives, significance of quality improvement and patient safety, role of nursing informatics on competency development. Around 100 delegates were participated actively and equipped their knowledge.

Campus life and Student Nurses Association unit of SRM Trichy College of Nursing organized Christmas and New Year program on 19 December, 2024. Our students were more thrilled to involved in the celebrations and they performed with the dance, carols song, skit and cake cutting. We end the celebration with Santa Claus. Students visited St. Anne’s differently abled home along with Faculty members and shared our joy and happiness with them.

SRM Trichy College of Nursing organized the National Cancer Awareness Day Program 2024 on 29.11.2024 between 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm.
On 29.11.24 SRM Trichy College of Nursing organized a slogan contest to increase the awareness of cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment. The day emphasizes the importance of routine screenings, healthy lifestyle choices, and prompt medical action in light of the growing impact of cancer on public health.
To prepare the students of our SRM Trichy College of Nursing to become empathetic and compassionate health care providers and groom them to continuously update their skills. To make our institution known for its research skills and transform the lives of people who are part of our ecosystem.
