A Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) programme on “Challenges in Fecundity: Emerging Technologies and Clinical Advances” was successfully conducted by SRM Trichy College of Nursing on 16 December 2025 at 9.00 AM in the Multi-Purpose Hall.
The programme commenced with an inaugural session, followed by a welcome address delivered by Mrs. Shanthi P., M.Sc. (N)., Associate Professor. The scientific sessions were led by eminent resource persons from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, TSRMMCH & RC.
Dr. Dhivya Narbhavi, M.S. (OG), addressed ethical dilemmas associated with fertility enhancement and embryo selection. Dr. Salma Seikh, M.S. (OG), highlighted the clinical challenges involved in integrating artificial intelligence into fertility clinics. Dr. Swapna, M.D. (OG), elaborated on existing research gaps and future directions in reproductive technologies.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. Overall, the CNE programme was informative, well organised, and highly beneficial to the participants, enhancing their knowledge and understanding of recent advancements in fertility care.
