We the SRM Trichy College of Nursing faculty conducted the webinar on “Vaccine Drive” which is one of the ‘hot topic’ for this pandemic time on 28.07.2021. Dr. Jeffin was the guest speaker. He addressed on the types of vaccines available in our country and how it works. He shared important note on the people who can have this vaccine and how safe it is to face the pandemic with precautionary measure. 286 students ; faculty from 28 institutions participated. The participants raised a lot of doubts and they were cleared by the guest speaker. It was a very interactive session and there was a very positive feedback about the session.

The First State Level workshop on Revamping Critical Care Nursing Skill was presided by our
honorable chairman sir Dr.R.Shivakumar, SRM Group of Institutions (Ramapuram & Trichy Campuses). Chief
guest address was Given by Dr.Saradha Ramesh.,Ph.D(N), Dy. Director of Nursing Research & Principal,
VMRF, VMCON Pondicherry. Followed by Principal Dr.SujaSuresh.,PhD(N), welcomed the gathering.

Workshop ended at 5:30 pm with valediction. Observer from TNNMC & 3 of the delegates given the
feedback about the workshop. Every one appreciated the workshop, infrastructure of the college & hospitality.

Continuing Nursing Education Programme was conducted at SRM Trichy College of Nursing on the day of World Diabetes Day 2022 in the theme of Diabetes: Education To Protect Tomorrow on 18^th November 2022. All the faculties, Staff from Trichy SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Center and the students were participated. Topics on Management of Diabetes, Diabetes Diet, Diabetes Lifestyle, Gestational Diabetes, Diabetes & Obesity and Impact on Diabetes were discussed in the programme. The participants were happy and shared that they refreshed their knowledge and all the sessions were very informative. Certificates were distributed to all the participants.

We the SRM Trichy College of nursing Medical surgical Department faculty conducted the webinar on “Ventilator Care – Nursing Perspectives” on 24.06.2022. Dr. M.Kavitha., M.Sc(N),PhD, Vice Principal Academic in MMM College of Nursing, Chennai was the guest speaker. She addressed on the Ventilator care. She shared important points regarding ventilator modes, setting and care. 181 students and faculty were participated. The participants raised a lot of doubts and they were cleared by the guest speaker. It was a very interactive session and there was a very positive feedback about the session.
