SRM Trichy College of Nursing along with Sirugambur PHC organized National Deworming Day on 17.08.2023. Medical BMO has delivered the lecture about the significance of National Deworming day and the importance of adolescents’ health. All the faculty members and students were taken Deworming Day Oath.
SRM Trichy College of Nursing Observed World Breast Cancer Month (Pink October) on 29.10.2022. Nearly 120 Students and Faculties were involved. II Year student given the speech about this year theme “Together we Rise” “ Which ensure every women access to the screening she needs and the support she deserves” Motivated the students to do Breast self examination as well as to create awareness’ in Public.

programme was conducted on 30/9/2022 at samayapuram , SRM urban primary health
centre.By 2nd year B.sc nursing students between 10.30 am to 11.45 am. The theme of this
year (2022) is “USE HEART FOR EVERY HEART”. Around 50 members are participated in this
programme. Based on the theme students were organized puppet show , villu pattu, Mime
show and skit based on the theme . All the participants had empowered with knowledge
regarding the management and prevention of heart diseases.
Alzheimer’s Day – 29/09/2022

SRM Trichy college of Nursing has conducted world Alzheimer’s Day-2022. The Programme was started with Thamizh Thai Vazhthu. Welcome address by Mrs.Rani Joseph, Assistant Professor, SRM Trichy College of Nursing, Trichy. Principal Dr.SujaSuresh M.Sc.,(N) Ph.D., honoured Professor Mrs.Latha, M.Sc.,(N) Mental Health Nursing, Servite College of Nursing. Followed by session Started with the theme Alzheimer’s Day “Know Dementia Know Alzheimer’s” .BSc(N) III year performed Mime show and Song. Ms.Anuja B.Sc.,Nursing Tutor proposes the vote of thanks. Programme ended with National Antham.
Conducted Suicidal prevention programme on 12 Sep-2022 in the Hospital Lobby at 10.30am along with Trichy SRM Medical & Research Center, Mr.Srinivasan H.O.D Psychiatry given speech B.Sc (N) III Year Students were perform mine show and one song well & finally we went rally.
75th Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August 2022 in SRM Trichy College of nursing in SRM campus. Padma Shri. S.Damodaran, Founder of the NGO Gramalaya was the chief guest of this programme. After the flag hoisting the flag song was sung by the nursing students. The programme was end with national anthem followed by sweet distribution.
World First aid day was observed on 10/09/2022 in SRM Trichy College of Nursing, we conducted quiz competition among B.Sc Nursing Students (4 years). The students from all four batches selected and formed 4 groups. Totally 9 rounds were conducted students participated enthusiastically. Finally selected the winner and runner based on their score.
As a Part of Campus Life & SNA activity SRM Trichy college of Nursing Faculty & Students celebrated onam function on 10/09/2022.Our students sang some devotional songs, performed traditional dance and made the programme graceful
SRM Trichy College of Nursing students were celebrated Nutritional week on 8th September 2022 in Manikkapuram Village. During the programme students explained about importance of nutrition in various aspects like under five, Anemia, DASH Diet, and Diabetic diet. Also they prepared few therapeutic diet & models. There was a good response from the Parents & students. It was a highly welcomed community program
As a part of SNA activity world environment day was celebrated in Makalikudi community area by IV year B.Sc Nursing students on 7th June 2022. The students were given awareness to the community peoples about environmental hygiene, avoid using of plastics and planted three saplings in that community area.
To prepare the students of our SRM Trichy College of Nursing to become empathetic and compassionate health care providers and groom them to continuously update their skills. To make our institution known for its research skills and transform the lives of people who are part of our ecosystem.
