SRM Trichy College of Nursing organized the National Population Day on 11.07.2023 between 11.00 am and 12.00 pm in Trichy SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Trichy. The theme of this year is “Unleashing the power of gender equality: Uplifting the voices of women and girls to unlock our world’s infinite possibilities”. Our 4th Year B.Sc. Nursing Students were created awareness regarding family planning methods through health education and posters. The mothers who attended the OBG OPD, Postnatal ward mothers and their caretaker were benefited from this programme. The program was highly influenced the participants and many were motivated to undergo family planning in future.
